AFTERCARE
I personally suffer from chronic dermatitis and so it was important to me to find an aftercare that was accessible for all skin types.
This aftercare is perfect for fully saturated traditional tattoos, and super sensitive skin, which can be the hardest combo to heal!
Feel free to follow this aftercare for all skin types & tattoo styles for a clean, easy healing process.

Sudocrem (aka the best aftercare cream ever) there really is nothing like it on the market. It's waxy, breathable, sensitive and long lasting.
Sensitive soap in a pump bottle (eg. QV or Cetaphil)
Cling Wrap
Medical Tape
Paper Towel (Viva is the GOAT)
Sensitive Moisturiser eg. Cetaphil or QV (No oils please)
A sweet treat for yourself for being brave getting your new tattoo!

In three hours time:
give your new tattoo a wash with warm soapy water
Pat dry with paper towel or let air dry (please don't use any bath towel on your new tattoo)
Apply a thin layer of Sudocrem
Wrap with a new layer of cling wrap
Repeat this process every 4 hours for the first 24 hours.
Skin can take up to 24 hours to seal over. This is why you're going to keep your new tattoo wrapped and clean for the first 24 hours to avoid a thick harsh scab forming; which can cause drop outs, blow outs and scarring.

No more cling wrap.. Yay! It's time to let your new tattoo breathe.
Wash your tattoo three times a day with warm soapy water.
Apply a thin layer of sudocrem after each wash.
-
Stop using Sudocrem
Wash once a day
Lightly moisturise maximum twice a day with a sensitive moisturiser like QV (No oils)
-
Keep your tattoo wrapped, but clean for 24 hours
Only use sudocrem
